Bemfoo is a set of tools that help creators run YouTube channels. Our first tool, Instant Recap, turns a movie file and its subtitles into a narrated, edited and captioned recap video.
Bemfoo is built and operated by Meowtion LLC. Plans are billed monthly or yearly in US dollars, and credits can be used on every Bemfoo tool.
For account questions, email us from the address on your account so we can verify it's you.
These terms are an agreement between you and Meowtion LLC ("we", "us") for your use of Bemfoo. By creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to them.
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use Bemfoo. Keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. We charge your payment method at the start of each period. Monthly credits reset on renewal and don't carry over. Top-up credits are a one-time purchase and stay on your account while it is open. Prices are in USD and exclude taxes, which are added where required. If we change a plan's price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to you.
You can cancel any time from Billing. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then stops renewing. Payments are non-refundable; see the Cancellation policy.
You must own or have permission to use every file you upload, and you must follow the terms of any service you obtain files from. You keep ownership of your uploads and of the recaps we generate for you. You give us a limited licence to process your files only to provide the service. You are responsible for how you publish recaps, including complying with YouTube's policies and copyright law. We do not guarantee that any video will be accepted, monetized or free of claims.
Don't use Bemfoo to break the law, infringe others' rights, upload malware, resell access, scrape or overload the service, or create content that is hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or meant to deceive or harass.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, after notice where reasonable. You can delete your account any time from Account settings.
Bemfoo is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
We may update these terms and will tell you about material changes by email or in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, USA.
Account details (name, email, sign-in method), billing details handled by Stripe (we receive the card brand, last four digits and billing country, never the full card number), the files you upload and the recaps we create, and usage data such as pages visited and features used.
To run Bemfoo, process payments, provide support, prevent fraud, improve the product, and send account emails. We send product emails only if you leave them switched on, and you can turn them off any time. We don't sell your personal information.
Service providers that help us run Bemfoo: Stripe for payments and affiliate payouts, cloud hosting and storage, voice and AI processing providers, email delivery and analytics. Each may use your data only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
Uploaded movie and subtitle files are deleted within 7 days after your recap renders. Recaps stay until you delete them or close your account. When you delete your account, we erase your data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as invoices.
You can access, correct, export or delete your data from Account settings, or by emailing minh@meowtionapp.com. Depending on where you live, including the EU, UK and California, you may have further rights, such as objecting to processing or complaining to a regulator.
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in, and analytics and affiliate cookies to understand usage and credit referrals. Affiliate cookies last 60 days.
Bemfoo is not for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
All payments for subscriptions and top ups are final. Cancelling stops future renewals; it doesn't refund the current period or unused credits, except where the law requires it. Please contact minh@meowtionapp.com before opening a dispute with your bank so we can help.
You earn 25% of the net amount (after chargebacks and taxes) paid by each customer you refer, for their first 12 months. A referral counts when someone signs up within 60 days of clicking your link, on a device and browser that still has the cookie. The last affiliate link clicked gets the credit.
Commissions are held for 30 days to cover chargebacks, then paid on the 15th of each month through Stripe once your balance is at least $50. You must connect a Stripe account and provide the tax information Stripe asks for. You are responsible for taxes on your earnings.
Clearly disclose that your links are affiliate links, as required by the FTC and similar rules elsewhere. Don't refer yourself or accounts you control, bid on "Bemfoo" or "Instant Recap" in paid search, send spam, or make misleading claims, including promising specific earnings or that recaps will never receive copyright claims. Commissions earned by breaking these rules are forfeited.
We may change commission rates with 30 days' notice; changes don't affect commissions already earned. Either side can end participation at any time. Approved balances of $50 or more are paid out after you leave.
We respect copyright. If you believe content processed through Bemfoo infringes your rights, send a notice to minh@meowtionapp.com with: your contact details, the work you own, where the infringing material is, a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate, and your signature. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.
